To meet the needs of Christian foster, adoptive, and kinship families by removing barriers and providing support so that they can provide Christ-centered, loving homes and quality care to vulnerable children.

Sevier County
In 2021, 130 new kids entered into state custody and 192 remained
On September 30, 2018, a total of 215 kids were in the foster care system
Blount County
In 2023, 45 new kids entered into state custody and 183 remained.
On September 30, 2018, a total of 230 kids were in the foster care system
Knox County
598 new kids entered into state custody and 792 remained. (Year not specified)

Tennessee State Stats
On September 30th 2021, there were 9,227 children in foster care in TN “Parental substance use and neglect were the two most frequent circumstances associated with a child’s removal from home in FY2021.”
46% of kids were in state custody for 1-11 months
57% of the kids in state custody in 2021 were reunified with their biological family
23% of the kids in state custody in 2021 were adopted
As of September 30, 2021, 1,072 kids were waiting to be adopted after their parent’s rights were terminated.
